Rooted in Charm, Holidays and History

Braselton's roots lie in rich agricultural soil nourished by entrepreneurship and community spirit. Restored neoclassical revival style homes, a roller mill, cotton gin and the original mercantile are now home to an eclectic array of boutique shops, artisanal eateries and cultural spaces that still embody its traditions. During the holidays, explore these modern relics adorned with festive lights and filled with holiday spirit.

In November and December, traditional holiday festivals and activities take center stage. The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebrate the Holidays Parade and Festival kicks off the season on Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21, and the community comes together for a day of Yuletide merriment and celebration. Local organizations and businesses parade through the heart of Braselton on their floats, entertain neighbors and friends and fill the Town Green with area artisans. The celebration is so exciting that even the Big Man himself—St. Nick—stops in with his real reindeer to join us.

Explore all of Braselton's holiday events and attractions for family-friendly seasonal activities from holiday lights trolley tours to our community partners and local restaurants featuring holiday-themed menus, live entertainment, trivia and karaoke.

Step back in time. The Enterprise Roller Mill’s original equipment preserves the tales of a bustling operation that once produced thousands of pounds of flour and cornmeal daily. Or hop aboard the regular route on Fridays and Saturdays at the Braselton Library or Downtown stop. Both are located in historic downtown just steps from The Mill.

For history lovers and curious explorers, Braselton offers a self-guided historic walking tour through the downtown area.
