Day 1 - Let the Inspiration Begin

Breakfast with a view: What could be more inspiring than sunrise over the vineyards? Begin your day at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort's Le Petit for an artisan espresso paired with fresh baked pastries and a front row seat for nature's morning show at the outdoor patio.

📍 Le Petit Cafe + Boutique 100 Rue Charlemagne Drive

Hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily

Welcome to Braselton: Once the morning masterpiece is complete, make your way to Historic Downtown Braselton and park at the downtown parking deck. The community commitment to the arts is quickly apparent. The parking deck features a striking mural of geometric patterns greeting visitors to downtown. The Town of Braselton believes that public art celebrates and make visible our community aspirations, values and heritage. Look for public art installations created by Georgia artists like the ArtSquared cubes at various locations, sculptures, bright crosswalks, a hallway of whimsical painted doors, and many more fun, unique expressions of creativity in our community.

If you're in town Monday through Friday, immerse yourself in Braselton's story with a visit to The Mill, the town's official welcome center and a tribute to its industrial roots. Step inside the museum to explore the legacy of the historic Enterprise Roller Mill, where flour once powered a growing community. Then, wander through the thoughtfully curated retail market, offering souvenir postcards painted by North Georgian plein air artist Susan Waters, photographs of Braselton attractions by Braselton resident Sarina Roth, handmade coffee mugs by House of Clay, and other locally-made artisanal products.

Historic Downtown Braselton has a charming, walkable urban center with tree-lined sidewalks and pedestrian friendly streets, parks, and connected downtown complexes. Feel free to stop at other shops and attractions along your journey.

Stop 2: Head southeast and cross Davis Street at the brightly painted mural crosswalk and begin walking along Harrison Street. Just to your left is a large 8'x8' ArtSquared cube. There are three located around town. Each of cubes' sides were painted by a local artists at the 2024 ArtRageous festival and sponsored by one of our community partners. The blocks are bright and fun with varied subjects including beauty, love, humor, and contemplation. There are also three large planters at this location painted with murals and overflowing with seasonal flowers.
