< Back to Welcome Center Kim Barge Painting & Textiles Hand-Painted Scarves Kim Barge is an artist and art educator, born and raised in Georgia, that currently lives in Buford, Georgia with her husband, Tim. Kim obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Textiles from Georgia State University, her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Georgia, and her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. She had her first solo show in January of 2023 at the Sugar Hill Art Gallery and has locally displayed her work in group juried shows for over 8 years. Kim is currently an art professor at the University of North Georgia and has a studio at the Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford.
