Emily Sidoruk

Hi! My name is Emily and I’m the creator behind Althea Gallery & Garden.
Art has been my number one hobby for as long as I can remember. I’ve  experimented with a wide variety of mediums throughout my life, sticking  with some more than others. I classify myself as a self-taught artist. I  was fortunate enough to attend a few classes at the Lamar Dodd School  of Art during my time at the University of Georgia, but it was never a  major area of study for me. I contribute the majority of my artistic  talent to genetics gifted to me by my late father, Frank Newsome. In  honor of him, my artwork is always signed with my maiden initials.
