About the Artist:

Reneé is a vibrant artist whose paintings evoke both joy and peace. Inspired by nature, wildlife, and the beauty of living in the moment, she believes she has always been an artist—growing up creating and eventually turning that passion into her full-time career. Working from her home studio, she creates fine art originals with a current focus on wildlife, while also taking on commissions ranging from pet portraits to favorite vacation spots and epic hikes.

Reneé loves working on a larger scale and paints murals whenever and wherever she can, with existing murals in Athens, Clarkesville, and Washington. She has also recently expanded into window painting and sign-making for small businesses. This is her third time participating in the Art Squared portion of ArtRageous in Braselton, and she always has a blast.

About the Mural:

Title: Bubblegum Boogie

The mural features a colorful, spunky cow front and center. Captured mid-moment, the cow blows a bubble of gum which expands and transforms into a shimmering disco ball. The morphing bubble becomes a playful metaphor for joy - revealing that even a small and unexpected moment can grow into shared moments of joy. Both the bubblegum and wallpaper styled background evoke feeling of nostalgia. The subtle background pattern paired with the sweeping line adds rhythm, movement and visual charm, while the focus remains on the joyful cow.

This mural design feels contemporary, lighthearted and unapologetically fun. It invites viewers to pause, smile and embrace the delight of not taking life too seriously. “Bubblegum Boogie” celebrates spontaneity, creativity and the joy that emerges when playful energy is allowed to take center stage.
