Paddy's Day PathFEST Parade & Quest

Date: Saturday, March 16, 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Cost: Free

Location: Braselton LifePath on Hwy. 211 and local participating businesses


If you're looking for a fun, unique way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, you'll find it in Braselton at the Paddy's Day PathFEST. There is a parade of festively decorated golf carts, a quest for the family, and no shortage of green libations for the adults. This event is sponsored by Buy Local Braselton.

PathPARADE

10 to 11 a.m.

Parade check-in 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Route: Braselton's LifePath from Ace Hardware to Primrose School on the Hwy. 211 sidewalk/cart path. Click here for Google directions.

Parade registration: Free, no registration required, unless you want to participate in the contest


Decorated golf carts, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, wagons, and walking groups will parade along the LifePath (multi-use sidewalk along Hwy. 211) beginning at Ace Hardware, turning right onto Bayberry Drive, and ending at Primrose School. Spectators are encouraged to watch the zany parade as it travels along the east side of Hwy 211.


Interested in being in the parade? Line up begins at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event in front of Ace Hardware. There is no fee or registration required to enter. However, to be eligible for awards, fully decorated carts must check in before 9:30 a.m. because judging begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Prizes are sponsored by the Braselton Community Improvement District. Judges will award the best decorated entries with prizes.



PathQUEST

Begins immediately following parade, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Registration tent: Primrose School parking lot, 2711 Old Winder Hwy., Braselton, GA 30517

Quest entry: Free, no preregistration required


Gather a team of your craziest friends, give yourselves a cool team name, and come make merry on the LifePath. The PathQUEST is a timed scavenger hunt through participating LifePath businesses in search of clues to complete a quest challenge. Teams must consist of at least 2 people, but no more than 5, and at least one person must be 18 years old. No preregistration required, but teams that register in advance earn extra points.




Award Ceremony & Prizes at 3 p.m.

Jack's Public House, 6332 Grand Hickory Dr., Braselton, GA 30517


After the quest, meet up at Jack's Public House at 3pm for awards and prizes!

Teams must be present in order to receive prizes.
